Liam came to Lollypop Farm when his long-term lease ended. His owner moved out of state, and could not find a home for him. Liam is a former eventer/foxhunter/dressage show horse, and is extremely well trained, and was well-loved in his previous home! Arthritis has since moved him into needing a less strenuous job. He is sound for light flatwork in an arena with good footing, and best maintained with a joint supplement. He shouldn't be trail ridden, or go riding over rough terrain. Liam is best suited for an Intermediate rider, as he's not totally quiet enough for a beginner, but is very manageable for those with some confidence under saddle. He has wonderful ground manners, and gets along great with his turnout buddies. He is the perfect horse for someone looking for an older, been-there-done-that guy that just wants to enjoy light riding and great companionship.
