Taylor is an approx 9yo TN Walking Horse gelding that stands around 16h.  We rescued Taylor from a kill pen in April 2017 as an unbroke and almost unhandled horse.  Taylor has just finished 60 days training with Jeff Michael at Split Creek Equine, and is now a very capable trail mount.  He is still green and will need a confident intermediate or above rider that will take their time with him to continue where his training has left off.   He is currently in Westminster, MD at Starry Night Stables where he will be getting some great "wet saddle blanket" time on the trails and in the ring.  He will also have a lot of opportunity to meet lots of new faces, which he really needs and seems to enjoy.  We believe Taylor is gaited, however, at this time he is doing a Walk, Trot, Canter under saddle.  If slowed down and asked to relax and soften, he will give a few strides of gait before breaking into the trot.  But in the mean time, he's a pretty awesome WTC horse!  His adopter can choose to work on his gait, or enjoy him as a more "traditional" horse at the trot.  His potential is endless and he now has the foundation to take his new person on to great things.  Taylor loads and trailers, good for trims with a patient farrier, is UTD on vaccines, dental.  He has been out on trails and is very relaxed and happy on the trails.  View Taylor's training video from Jeff at https://youtu.be/tGJyrHsVmjk
