"Chief" came to Lollypop Farm this fall with his pasture mate Alphabet Lady when their elderly owner could no longer care for them. Chief is a true war horse with 97 starts, and $201,690 in earnings! His owner has had him for the past 22 years, loved him immensely, and it shows. At almost 30 years of age, Chief can still run & snort with the best of them! He is friendly & good for grooming. Chief has typical teeth for an senior horse, and needs soaked hay in addition to his senior feed. He also is on daily Equioxx for his arthritis. But this handsome man is worth every bit of care you put into him! He has been living with his girlfriend Alphabet Lady for the past several years, and because they are so bonded and with their age, they need a home together. All that means is you get twice the love!
