Just how adorable is Baby Ana?! Ana is a NY-Bred OTTB, but spent most of her racing career on the island of Puerto Rico. The Caribbean Thoroughbred Aftercare took her in when she retired, and started her retraining. She transferred to Lollypop in February to continue her training and find a new home! Ana is amazingly sweet, and is the first horse to greet you at the gate. She has good ground manners, behaves for the vet & farrier, and likes attention. Ana is doing well in her training, and is currently going walk-trot under saddle and working on obstacles. She is very brave, and is already tackling bridges. She gets along wonderful in turnout. Ana is still very much a baby, and needs an experienced rider or trainer to bring her along. She sometimes misses her buddies during work, and loses focus unless you keep things interesting! Ana would be a fun horse to bring along for dressage, trail riding, pleasure, or even possibly some low-level jumping. She does have some wear left in her knees from racing, but full xrays of them are available, as well as opinions from Cornell. Ana is 2023 RRP eligible.
