"Alphie" came to Lollypop Farm this fall with her buddy Grand Chief when their elderly owner could no longer care for them. Her dad is the famous racehorse, Alphabet Soup, and she looks a lot like he did! Alphie raced 14 times before retiring to have 2 foals in 2013 and 2019. She is now embracing full retirement from riding and breeding, and looking for a pasture to spend her days in with her boyfriend Chief. Alphie does have a fully fused LF fetlock, but is pasture sound. She gets daily Equioxx for her arthritis, but still runs and plays. Her owner loved her a lot, and she wants a new family who will love her just as much. Because her and Chief are so closely bonded, they need a home together.
