Legacy Therapeutic Riding Center. is a local 501(c)(3) horseback riding facility specializing in helping disabled riders reach milestones in their physical development and communication skills. Through a variety of games and the natural gait of the horse, riders can experience an improvement in hand-eye coordination and balance. Speech can be improved through the simple physical activity, a need to communicate with their horse, and involvement with peers and volunteers. Therapeutic riding programs can also assist emotionally challenged individuals build bridges of trust. A boost in self-esteem often results from the confidence built through working with and riding a powerful animal like the horse.

To provide equestrian-related activities that offer therapeutic benefits for children and adults with varying conditions, including Cerebral Palsy, developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Trisomy 21, anxiety, and more.
